Quite interesting
The string orchestra is great, the beats are catchy, the electric guitar is pretty good, and the bell has awesome timing... but I feel a lack of originality in the theme. It sounds like it could be in any RPG or cheesy video game sprite fight.
But it's conform to the expectations...
...so, that's awesome! You worked hard on this and you deserve all the fame you got!

Those games are brilliant!
And this song is so great! It looked soooooooooo cool on the GBA when the camera was spinning around the fight with that song playing while the characters were casting Psynergies!
IMO, your remix is better than the original, and it could fit very well if it was used in the upcoming Golden Sun game, because the sounds are VERY Motoi Sakuraba-ish, and they keep an alchemy feel to it.

Your remix is great, but next time, don't be afraid to add more bass and more beats.
The beats here is good and fits the song, but you could have made other beat patterns in the song you could have added there and there.
The lead synth is Megamanish, and that's what makes your song authentic.

10 years ago since I heard this for the first time
To me, this is the most nostalgic song I ever heard.
It reminds me of Nintendo's early masterpieces. Nowadays, they're doing games for people who doesn't like video games, it's a shame to believe they created OOT before they got money-hungry.
Oh well. Your song is beautiful and I love the sounds you used in this. Gotcha84 was complaining about how your song wasn't fast. He's right, but hell, let's be original sometimes, shall we? Trance is quite good, yes. But slow songs are awesome too. Just like this song.
